Summary: While we were there, we were unable to take a shower. Our shower reduced to a trickle when we used hot water. We did tell the hotel on our first morning but it wasn't fixed. Additionally, on our first morning, our toilet wouldn't flush. We had to go out for the day to use the toilet but it was fixed by the time we returned 7 hours later. The chromecast TV wasn't hooked up. When we called to tell them that it wasn't working, they told us they were aware and that a technician had been scheduled. When we checked out and again reported being unable to shower, showing them a video of the shower, they asked us if we had additional time. We did have 10 minutes and were offered another room to take a shower but unfortunately, 10 minutes wasn't enough for us to unpack and shower. Without a shower or working toilet, or streaming TV, we did note in writing to them that we felt we should get some reimbursement. We have not had a response from them.

Summary: Nice historic hotel right in the heart of Dublin City Centre, reasonably priced, and walking distance to a lot. The staff was great (thanks, Shane!), and the room was spacious. It's an older hotel, so if you prefer more modern facilities this might not be for you but that doesn't matter to me so long as it's clean, comfortable, and the staff is friendly and helpful. he Arlington checked all of those boxes for me! I'd recommend it and would stay there again if visiting the Dublin area in the future.

Summary: Location is fantastic, right in the heart of Dublin city. Staff was excellent, very helpful. Bar/restaurant on the first floor is huge, food was good, live music most nights. Only possible drawback was no air conditioning & the nights we stayed in July were quite warm. Leaving our window open was not an option because there was is alley behind the hotel where our room was located, lots of noise throughout the night from trucks, deliveries, etc. other than that, excellent hotel and location. Would definitely stay there again.

Summary: Very clean, staff went out of their way to help us. Beds weee comfortable. They even had a fan in the room which us Americans love. Plenty of beds. Great price for the room.

Summary: Location of the Arlington can’t be beat as we were in the heart of city and close to everything we wanted. The hotel pub and restaurant were convenient options but there are several choices a short distance away. The beds were comfortable but we didn’t have hot water for morning showers so be prepared and/or take a shower in the late afternoon. Lastly, depending on the rooms you’re assigned you may be walking up a couple flights of steps as the elevator doesn’t take you to one of the wings of the hotel.

Summary: Hotel was clean and in a good location. Room was decently quiet, but did wake up to some noise outside during the night. Shower was pretty bad. No reason to have a shower head at the water just poured out. It kind of felt like you got beat up during the shower. They charge 50€ to check in early which isnt ideal. Front desk was pleasent enough.

Summary: Great, central location with walking access to sites and tons of restaurants. The historic hotel is a little worn, but our corner room was very spacious and nice with tall ceilings, comfortable beds and lots of windows. The breakfast had many options. My only complaint was the unwelcoming and unfriendly front desk staff (except for the nice gentleman who helped with luggage). We were so excited to be in Dublin for the first time and we were greeted by rude staff. This was our only bad experience during our 2-week trip in Ireland.

Summary: Great location and price. We did not use the metro so idk if the location is great for that, but if youre just planning on walking around dt Dublin, it's perfect. The hotel even had a dinner show, Celtic Nights, which was fantastic! The front desk let us check in 30 min earlier w/no fee, and when we were checking out, my friend's uber app wasn't working so they were able to call a cab for us and the cabbie actually came inside to check w/the desk (which they told us would happen - thats more of a cool perk of Dublin formality/hospitality vs a TON of cabbies who will park on the other side of the st and make you walk with your bags and some who won't even put your bags in the trunk!) If i could say anything negative about the place, it'd just be that the room was a little small but it was totally manageable and not out of our expectations - places in Europe tend to be smaller in general.
